As the nineteenth largest city in Romania, there is a whole lot to see and explore. In addition to being the birthplace of romantic novelist Mihai Eminescu and Romanian politician and historian Nicolae lorga, Botosani is known for its many cultural institutions. From the Nicolae lorga Memorial House to the Ciomac Cantemir House and the Mihai Eminescu National Theatre, Botosani is every history lover’s dream destination.
