The award that the official guests of the Swiss Tourism Awards will receive, is a precious honorific silver plate that reports the reason why the destination has been awarded.

The plate symbolizes the hospitality of the city of Lugano, commemorating the participation to the Swiss International Holiday Exhibition and underling the value and the vocation to tourism of each single awarded city.

The awarding is announced during the Gala Evening at the presence of the official delegations of the different awarded cities, of the highest authorities of Lugano and of the Italian Swiss television and press.
