After careful evaluation, the scientific committee of the Swiss Tourism Awards then selected the city of Ulcinj and awarded the prize:

“Best multicultural destination in Montenegro.”

The most special thing this destination offers are the beautiful Mediterranean-style beaches. The best time to go to Ulcinj is during the summer period. The most famous beach is Velika Plaza located 12 km along the southern coast of Montenegro, making it the longest beach in this country. Another interesting place in Ulcinj is Ada Bojana, a small island that is actually a delta of the Bojana River.
